If you were choosing the default bookmarks for a browser, what would you choose?

These are Apple’s choices for Safari nowadays.

1. Apple — of course.

2. Yahoo! — makes sense. One destination for pretty much every kind of basic internet service. (Google’s homepage is too sparse.)

3 & 4. Google Maps and YouTube — Interesting choices, but maybe it makes sense if you consider their presence on the iPhone? Not sure about these..

5. Wikipedia — wow. awesome. Seems very net-savvy, and I wouldn’t have expected it.

News:

- The basics you’d expect.

- We’ve got NPR, but no FOX.

Popular:

- A new category to me.

- eBay and Amazon have been defaults for a long time.

- Disney is kind of a weird choice

- Flickr, Facebook, and craigslist — seem like new additions. Very net-savvy and kind of unexpected. (Particularly Flickr and Facebook.)
